4 way variable gain masthead amplifier.

This 4-output amplifier provides a popular DTT-compatible solution to the problem of providing multiple TV points in a building. The gain can be adjusted over the range 1 to 16 dB, allowing satisfactory operation of the sys­tem over a wide range of received signal level. The amplifier can be powered via any of its outputs, providing flexibility in the location of the power unit.

The use of ‘F’ connectors makes them easy to use with a wide range of cable sizes and helps to ensure good system screening. Both units utilise two-stage amplifier circuits with interstage gain controls, ensuring that good noise figures and gain flatness are maintained as the gain is reduced.

The amplifier is presented in the proven PROception free-draining ventilated housings. These discreet designs protect the amplifier modules from the elements but make it almost impossible for rain water to become trapped within the enclosures.

Power is required from either a compatible power supply unit or an mains powered amplifier with line power.
