This module measures 50mm x 50mm and is designed to fit standard Euromod outlet plates. The Type A female output socket on the panel is connected by a flylead to a Type A female socket at the rear. This means that an HDMI cable can be plugged directly into the module without the use of tools. A deep double gang back box is recommended to allow plenty of room for the incoming cable and the flying socket to be connected within the box.

Any appliance with standard HDMI inputs or outputs can then be plugged into the face plate (the socket can be used as either an input or an output).

The module will accept HDMI signals up to HDMI version 1.3 and 1080p resolution, but it is not recommended that the cables run be more than 20m prior to connection to this socket. All pins are connected and the module is HDCP compliant.
